Bill is a certified trainer, functional fitness instructor and exercise counselor with extensive experience in somatics and martial arts. He has a diverse background in fitness, movement and education. Bill utilizes his knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics and neurophysiology to deliver movement specific training. He helps his clients learn how to integrate strength, power, flexibility, endurance, speed, balance and coordination to optimize mobility and reduce potential injuries and pain. Bill is a Fellow Graduate from the prestigious Gray Institute of Functional Training. He is certified as a Clinical Somatic Educator (Somatics Systems Institute), an Exercise Coach (CHEK Institute), a Certified Personal Trainer/Fitness Counselor (Holyoke Community College), an Exercise Specialist (Arthritis Foundation), and a Boxing Coach (USA Boxing Association). His long history of studying Chinese movement arts such as Tai Chi and related martial arts and yoga greatly influences his holistic approach to fitness. Bill holds a degree in Philosophy and a Secondary Teaching Certification and has over 30 years experience teaching and offering professional development services.

Kate Faulkner
Co-founder, Physical Therapist, Mat & Ball Instructor
Kate combines manual therapies and therapeutic exercises to support her patients’ rehabilitative process. She draws from her foundation in movement arts and medical sciences to inform her physical therapy practice.
Kate holds a masters degree in physical therapy from American International College, studied Biomechanics in the graduate Exercise Science Department at the University of Massachusetts and is a certified massage therapist. She continued studying Biomechanics with Gary Gray and Dave Tiberio. Additionally, she has trained in functional fitness, myofascial release, joint mobilization, craniosacral therapy and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) among other techniques. These complementary modalities and years of diverse experience allow Kate to work with her patients in a whole system approach.
Kate is a second generation Pilates instructor and has been teaching since 1987. She also holds a BA in Dance from Rutgers University.
Cordelia Chester
Massage Therapist, Pilates Instructor
Cordelia is a Massachusetts-licensed Massage Therapist with over 1,500 hours of training. She is committed to providing clients with educational tools that are easeful to incorporate into your day-to-day & enable you to live a pain-free life flavored in vigorous play!
In addition to her bodywork practice, Cordelia has 10 years experience teaching yoga & therapeutic movement to a wide demographic of athletic agility, ages, and cultures. Whether it is educating awareness through movement or bodywork, postural imbalance is a passion! Posture is our somatic emotional expression of Self and is often the root to musculoskeletal imbalance.

She is the visionary founder of Positively Africana, LLC, a thriving business that promotes cultural awareness and physical and mental well-being. Joy Haqq
Master of Occupational Therapy, Reiki Master, Joyful Dance Fitness Instructor
Joy obtained their master of occupational therapy degree from BPU in 2016, electing a concentration in gertiatric rehabilitation and sensory integration. After five years of clinical practice and instruction Joy dedicated their craft to the study of alternative healing arts, studying plant medicine at Blazing Star Herbal School and Reiki at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. They have since opened a local private practice in 2022 serving clients in Florence and Northampton.
Joy now holds workshops, community healing events, “Joyful Dance Fitness” and works with individual clients providing consultation and intervention.
