Continuum teaches us how to slow down, not just the pace of our lives, but to live in a frequency range that lava flows in, our digestive system moves to, and animals know. It is a range that allows us to touch the miraculous.

Discover the power of sound to change your body's tensions to ease and grace. Learn how to let your body breathe you! Move in non-linear, non-repetitive, fluid ways. Sense, feel and perceive life's currency as underlying waves of motion. Enhance awareness, happiness, empathic capacities, and ability to heal yourself.

Bring: blanket, pillow (if desired), water bottle.

finding and freeing the spine

Oct. 24 1:00-4:00 p.m. $59

Think not of the body from the outside in, but from the inside out. People often practice dance, martial arts, and fitness routines with only the awareness of outside movement; but we’ll look and sense the movement of the spine from the inside out. This embodied (mind-body) approach will explore how to maintain a flexible and supportive spine and how to be anatomically aware. Designed for those who want to increase their sensory awareness, gain a deeper understanding of their spine, and improve their posture and mobility.

woman’s retreat

November 7 11:30 am – 5:00 pm sliding scale between $65–$90

Women's Quarterly Retreat- this one day fall retreat provides a safe space for women to go both within and without by providing time for moving, meditation, group sharing, writing, and hands-on touch and repatterning. Agenda is carefully planned to allow each person to rejuvenate, renew, rethink, and receive individual attention  within the group.

Meditation is going to be based on using our environment and sense perceptions as a basis for the meditation
and is not specific to a particular religion; it can be applied to whatever spiritual practice or relaxation techniques one is already using. Moving is going to be to music and will be both improvised free form and structured around finding one's physical and energetic core- helping each person find or increase their sense of will power.
