Physical Therapy (PT), is the treatment of physical injury or dysfunction. Physical therapists promote a greater ability to move and enjoy a more active lifestyle by addressing the following goals: improve mobility and strength, increase balance, prevent injury, and relieve pain.
What Conditions Does Physical Therapy Treat?
Physical therapists may use one or a combination of therapies including rehabilitative exercises, manual or neuromuscular techniques, modalities like ultrasound or ice/heat and patient-tailored home exercises to help with the following conditions:
Kate is an out of network provider and is covered under PPO and POS plans. Medicare or Medicaid recipients are not covered, even if you have gap insurance or supplemental policies. Additionally she is not covered under Mass Health or any HMO plans. If you are covered, you may still be in your deductible or have a co-insurance payment that needs to be paid out of pocket. If you are unsure, please call your provider for details.
